The recent discussions on this forum about 220's has prompted me to pull out an envelope that I put aside years ago containing a couple of hundred 220's. I have already found three "cap on both 2's and I'm sure there will be at least one of the "right 2 only' variety in there LOL. My question is what else should I look for? My old scott specialized mentions a double transfer but no illustration. What does it look like?

If you go to the recent discussions you will find several references about literature, mostly articles in the official organ of the United States Stamp Society, The United States Specialist. In the December 2015 issue several pictures of the double transfers are found. If you would like a copy send a message to execsecretary@usstamps.org .
