I've been a member over on the coin forum for awhile now.Took me some time to figure out the navigation and terminology there. Started coin and stamp collecting 60 yrs. ago.Put both collections away when other interests and schooling took the time. I got back into coins near my retirement age.Never rekindled the stamp collecting interest. My father collected stamps for about 60 yrs or so.He passed away 10 yrs. ago and my siblings and I have possession of his collection. They wanted to unload it right away. I convinced them to hold off awhile until we had time to assess the extent of the collection and do some research into it's value. Looking forward to obtaining information on what we have and where to find reputable assessment.
Thanks for the welcome.Scans are not possible at this time due to technical difficulties(no scan device) and accessibility (collection at another location). It won't be for some time.I have so much reaquainting with the hobby to do before I can confidently post the overwhelming collection.
