This is basically a repost of a reply I did in an intro. I inherited a large collection of stamps - book from 1938. How should I go about evaluating this collection? Here are a couple dozen examples -

When you have stamps from all over the Planet, it is practical to have Scott's Stamp Catalogues and dig into them systematically (Country by Country) and inventory in one of those Stamp Software programs and start using your favorite stamp albums (I use Scott Catalogs 1-6 and others and have International Albums for the past 40 years + other specialized albums). Have a good time !

....and yes you did post this in your Intro Forum. Welcome, by the way from another Newbie to this Community !
