How can tell difference between 11 per flare plate print and 11 per rotary press print. Washington 1 cent stamp

Thanks 51studebaker for this link to interesting printing methods and I would add that my Grand Father used to have a printing shop in NW New Brunswick (early 1900s), passed to my Dad and then my brother. They also printed the largest french speaking weekly newspaper in Canada..Le Madawaska...at first with the old method way (huge printer and rolls and sticky black ink !)...than came Offset printing etc. colour....etc. Appreciate !

You should buy one a Sonic Imagery Labs US Specialty Precision Multi-Gauge. http://www.amosadvantage.com/produc...egory=PRFGGE

It is an amazing piece of plastic that makes all kinds of measurements, from flat plat/rotary to grill sizes so much easier. It is worth the price.
