I wouldn't negotiate much more than 20 cents. Very common and not a very good example.

I think with the "deep rose" the OP thought they had a fortune here....not rose at all....Mr. Gator is much better at the Wash/Frank's, but IIRC it's carmine...

It cannot possibly be a #482 (A140); this is the stamp design for a #482 (A140)


Your image is a design A139; your seller does not know his US stamps. You might want to use the Stamp Smarter website to assist with identification.

From image you supplied it appears to be a #384 Schermack Type III; value around US $1.

Need your comment about thhis two cents find it in the post card of Ohio send it in 1920 ?

It seem like a double printing !?

Dzpaper, I think the post card is from Maryland? But that aside, I think you need to post a much better scan.

This is the true colour of the stamp and that's why I suspected a double printing.

The photo in the back side is from Ohio.
