Hello all! I started my account back in August, but am unfortunately just getting around to doing my introductions. Sorry for the delay.

I am an avid stamp collector that has been collecting since my father introduced me to it when I was around 8 years old. He has been my collecting inspiration my whole life and I have to say that there is nothing like the feeling I get when working on my stamps.

I collect worldwide. I don't necessarily collect anything specifically topical (outside of a love for Airmails). I started my collection with a US album (an old HE Harris album my Dad bought me), and once I was in the US Navy some years back, I graduated to a Scott National album that I bought myself. Back then it was but 1 volume (go figure). I also have a couple of different Canada albums that I have acquired, but never took the stamps out, just added to them.

I am now older than I was then and my love has only grown. I print all of my own albums from Bill Steiner's album pages on stampalbums.com. Using a nice 32# paper gives the pages a nice feel. :) I plan to fill up some nice shelving with a whole bunch of country albums, stock books and more.

I also like buying 8-row Vario stock sheets and storing stamps in them or in glassines till I can get them into pages. I have my stock pages organized by country, with plastic, tabbed dividers. Yeah, I am a bit anal about my collections organization. I have plenty of stock books, but find the sheets so much of a cheaper and viable option.

I hope to get involved here and help answer any questions I can.

I too print Steiner pages on #32 paper and I use 8-row Vario stock sheets for initial stamp storage and sorting -- great minds think alike. :)
