These are gorgeous, regardless of the ID, but the seller is claiming a #16 on the left, #15 on the right. The stamps otherwise appear to be Type III (#15) and at first glance the left stamp appears to have an abnormally prominent bottom line. However...(if I am doing my research correctly) there are no Type III's re-engraved with only the bottom line AND the huge left side margin suggests the stamp abuts the border of the pane...and none of the re-engraved stamps come from those positions. I see a fair amount of ink bruises, and suspect a bruise overlies the bottom line, making it look thicker (and more complete) than it actually is.

Thoughts?

I noticed this seller posts a lot of VERY high end material--but much of it comes with certs (this one does not) and others look legit. Anyone had experience with them? I did not see them in the stampsmarter database.

Left stamp definitely not #16. As you say, none of the eight recut positions on Plate I comes from the edge of the pane. Also, the left stamp is relief B, but the only bottom-only recuts are from relief A.

ETA: After looking at the listing, the implication is that the right-hand stamp is #16, which is even more obviously not the case.
