Hi guys,I need some help,I purchased this from the internet because it's just looks different even though it's a poor picture and it's in the mail on the way, this is the website pic and it's all I have,I bought it because it does not look like a perf 10 stamp, the top perf's are 10 I'm sure but the sides look like 12,I have fooled around with photo-shop with it and I can count 12 perfs but sometimes I get 13,I don't think it's a 10X10 and it can't be a 11X11 as it's a 1915 postcard, the date in the writing confirms this as the postmark is illegible.

Don't know what this is but I don't think it's a 12X12.

Thought I'd put it up here, thanks.

Why not wait until it arrives in your mailbox, make an accurate measurement, and post back here. Asking us to guess based on that image produces exactly that - guesses.

Huffy, while you are waiting for this thing do yourself a big favor and get a perforation gauge. Counting perforations is not much of a scientific method even though some of us are good at it. A gauge will be helpful even if you get more experience.

Hi,I've been collecting 10 years,I have the gauge, nice magnifiers etc,I'm a APS member,I have no problem that way with stamps right here in front of me and 99.9% of pictures I see online I can figure out,I get the new book every year too,I just thought this picture looks odd.Like you guys I look at many stamp pictures online but this stamp just looks different for some reason, like the compound perf's on the one cent.
