Amen to that! People often seem to forget that when comparing scans the formatting matters. Apples to apples.

As for the rest, I get it. We just don't have enough referential material to nail some of these things down. Jerry's speculations about the grinding of the grill points sound good, but the only real basis for ruling out a 17 point Z-grill is the lack of experience at seeing them. If only one row of grill arrays on the Z-grill template (roller or plate) was ground short by one point vertically, they would still be much rarer than the few other normal examples that exist. But they could not be precluded with any sense of finality.
