This is my 3rd attempt at posting this, hope its the charm. I recieved this stamp in mail today and need some help with positive ID. I have used Stamp Smarter ID page to get me here. Horz perfs are 11, vert perfs are 10. Design is 19.75 wide and 22.25mm tall. It has all the design characteristics of the type 2, but I would like to be sure. My eyes are a joke even with a loupe. The back does note 539, but certainly not a given. It is mint with heavy hinge, but the gum does look legit.

Type III #540. There are two lines of shading in the curves of the ribbons.

The green lines extend the two red shading lines that make this a type III.

Hope that helps.

Thanks Smauggie, I was looking at the wrong part of the ribbon for shading lines. Washington/Franklins are not my strong point. I picked up that stamp and a 542 for less than $2.00. I was missing both of them regardless of outcome.
