I guess we all have some kind of hang ups when collecting stamps...i have tons of stamps from the 1970s and 1980s which are not in my worldwide collection...since I do not have albums for these years I suppose I could put them on plastic stock pages..but my hang up is..i believe stamps should be MOUNTED to a page..either by hinge or stamp mount..i suppose I could make my own album pages but the job would be humungous to cover 20 years of world wide stamps..i do not want to go the Scott International album route for those years since half the album pages are for wallpaper from countries that just want to produce pretty stamps for the collecting trade...

Phil:

Do yourself a favour. Put the stamps in ZipLock bags with 1000 stamps in each. Put them up for auction on ebay for $15.00 + shipping.

Make yourself some $$$$.

David

Same here Phil. I try to stay below the 50's or 60's but sometimes I will print off some later album pages to just paste in leftovers. Those darn collections just keep sneaking up in years.

Just get blank pages (Speed-rille, or whatever) and arrange them to suit you.

What I did is plot out the stamps from each year I was missing pages for from a catalogue and jotted the Scott number in the space for each; those I actually had the stamps for, I mounted.

And join . you can download and print just the pages you want for any countries you want, or you could give me a list and I would print the pages you want at cost or trade.

Get some clear laquer and make a art project. Just kidding. Phil you are a smart guy, I am sure you'll come up with something. You could always send me all your WW Lincoln stamps, you have no use for. Donate them to a youth club, veteran group, old folks home, or your fellow collectors if MOUNTING them is too daunting of a task. I saw take it 1 binder at a time.

That really would be a site to see: New York man covers garage door with stamps. It would be right up there with the car covered in stamps.

OK Phil, you may be laughing now that we are in the heat down here(105 to 110 index for two weeks). But just wait and see who is laughing this winter.
