Hi all, I'm a new member of this forum, 48 years old and residing in Essex county, Massachusetts. My father was a long time collector and member of APS. He is in his 80's now and no longer actively involved in collecting, but still a wealth of information. I used to go with him to the local coin & stamp store when I was about 10 years old, but never became interested in the hobby until just recently.
My immediate interest is to add to his collection of Great Britain as well as Channel Island stamps (these were his passion). Everything is up to date through 2001, but no inventory after that date - that's when he stopped. He kept everything in beautiful SAFE and Lindner albums. I may start working on a US collection at some point as well (he sold his US collection about 10 years ago).
I have been reading many of the forum posts and find them educational.
