Tina, Scott 1688, 1687, 1689, 1687,
You did not show 1686 Surrender of Cornwallis at Yorktown.

Happy 4th!
Mike

I have the set, Mint NH, in my U.S. collection. Very stunning!

Did these things ever get used for postage, in-period? I'd love to see a cover with one of those stamps actually used.

These are beautiful sheets. I don't recall ever seeing singles from the sheets used on a non-first day cover.

Thanks a bunch Tina

Dianne

1686 $3.25; 1687 $4.25, 1688 $5.25; 1689 $6.25

Unless there are errors or variations on them a-e is for the single stamps f onward is for errors I beleive. That stuff is too complicated for me also so If I find a stamp that looks good I hinge it, I don't usually check for variations.

This proves my arguement with judges that modern U.S., properly used, in-period, postage stamps are extremely difficult to get. More so than "classic" U.S. stamps on cover.
