Hi Guys. Just wanted to share this with you and see if anyone can guide me towards info. on it. I know it is an etching of the carrier post stamp and was printed in Munich. It has the number 495 on the back- anyone know how many were printed? I also know that Ludwig Hesshaimer did get a few of his designs made into actual stamps.. but why might he have drawn this many years after it ceased to be used?
I got lucky (I think/believe) and paid the princely sum of 4 euros as the only bidder :)
