I need some guidance from the 1c Franklin 'platers' on this one. The closest I've been able to get is a possible 54L5 but I am unsure of even the relief which I am guessing to be a B relief. Any help in steering me to the right Relief and Plate would be greatly appreciated!

F relief from the sixth row, probably not the tenth row. Probably Plate 5, 7 or 8. I don't have time right now to plate it.

Winston is right on, as usual. 56L8. Even though the typical Relief F "damage" in the upper label is obscured by the perfs, you can tell this is Relief F by the so-called "baseball cap" bruise in Franklin's head, as identified by David Zlowe in his Chronicle series on plate bruises.

Sorry it took me so long to get back...was at a symphony concert tonight!

Thank you both for your professional assistance. I struggled with the relief ID because of the top perfs and was going in circles. Dudley, interesting about the 'baseball cap' bruise. I was not aware of such a thing.

Finally, all my Sc #24's plated!
