Hi members,

Need help from the experts. I have found this stamp in my collection from my grandfather. Please need to know if this is a mistake on George Washington's beard. I appreciate any suggestions or information. Thank you.

Looks like it's just a scuff mark on the stamp. George never had a beard...in real life or on a stamp.
