Old Stamp Album With Fungi - Anyone Have Experience Using Lindner Erni A + B?

Hello everyone!

I have an old schaubek stamp album that unfortunately sustained some moisture damage and has many pages with fungi on stamps both MH and used stamps.

Thankfully this album was totally separate from the rest of my collection and remains sealed and separate.

I recently purchased Lindner ERNI a+b, which is supposed to clean and rinse only used stamps which are not subject to color fast.

Does anyone in the family have experience using this product? If so can you please give me some step by step instructions and or tips for most effective use.

Also have you tried this product on mint stamps and if so the result.

Just curious to see if you used ERNI and what your results were. Why not follow Lindner instructions?: https://www.lindner-original.de/en/...-1111130092/ The only thing is that you would use up the bottles quickly by soaking stamps one at a time. That's not your current problem.



For whatever it's worth, I've never seen such a list and doubt one exists. There are just too many worldwide.

I actually have not gotten around to using the ERNI a+b on that album. I plan to as soon as I have some free time and will update you and the forum with pictures (before, during and after use) as to the results.


As for the aniline inks, I searched long and hard across the internet but alas there was not a cover all list.

I pieced together many different sources and came up with my own list of sorts, will upload in the near future for the forum.
