Londondbus1,
You have quite a collection of unique items. I find such oddball items fascinating, because they differ from the normal. I like to look through the misc. boxes at shows. That is how I found a 1893 Columbian Expo admission ticket.

I actually found a web page that identifies the image I posted as a dummy stamp. I guess it's in the Scott Specialized Catalogue.

Here's the link:

That's why I love this hobby, I learn at least one new thing a day.

Well if this is real it would be about $12,500. and would be one of 5 known copies. Fakes & reproduction are know. The official colors were yellow & green.

Londonbus, I do not think it's unusal! It's British!
Maybe the UKPO has retired their 'new issue editor' and replaced him
with a royal monkey.
Allowing that mistake to get through and the awful 'Prince & the other women' issue.
It appears something is amiss in Londontown!

I received this seal for free from John Hotchner in response to his column in Linn's at least a year ago. He had a story regarding this particular item. I think it was used to seal shipments of stamps upon distribution or something like that. I can't seem to find the article now in my pile.

No fakes or reproductions Londonbus??

Very nice sheetlet of the high value Kangaroo & Map essay - only 8 are known to exist of the high value sheetlets, and only 1 of the colour that you've shown us here (without the additional logos at the top left of course ) The original dates from early 1912 and is worth around AU$40,000.

Still very nice to look at though
