I have looked at my Scott catalog trying to find these stamps. Maybe I just need new glasses, or maybe they aren't real? I did some internet searching and found this set of 8 listed as "mourning stamps" supposedly around 1936? I just don't know. Any help would be appreciated.

They're Semipostals, stampdog. Keep turning the pages until you reach the Back of Book

You have what is known as "Catalogue blindness"
A non fatal, an non permanent affliction that we all suffer from
occaisionally, especially "world wide" collectors.
Stanley Gibbons increases the occurence by placing some stamps
in sets, regardless of issue dates, which can be years apart.
The only permanent damage is the dog ears on our catalogues.

A lot of "mourning" stamps (and covers too) have black borders,
Some others are Greece~death of President Roosevelt, and Yugoslavia 1934 mourning King Alexander who was assasinated.
Queen Astrid was a beautiful Queen who tragically lost her life in an automobile accident in 1935

Thanks David, what a polite and encouraging forum this is
I ransacked my collection for mourning formats.
Some black bordered covers exist as late at 1987
and I have seen French mourning covers with a cross down
the left margin.
The Polish stamp is Marshall Pilsudski 1935
Excuse the nibbled stamps reference scans only.
