Lost ! a small book of "The Definitive Stamps of the Reign of King George VI" Australian postal edition,
Found ! right under my nose this morning when looking for something else, how many time does this happen to you I often think the old timers disease has kicked in or I'm loosing my marbles.
The reason I tried to find this book now has escaped me though I suppose just to show the stamps that didn't make the cut in 1927 to 1951 Australian King George the VI definitive's is good enough reason to post.

The book is in black and white and about 40 years old,

regards

I took a grinder to all my marbles and made them flat on one side. I no longer lose them ! they aren't good for much but I don't lose them!

Harry, heres the usual scenario...i want to catalog a stamp...i put it down on a surface to pull the catalog...now where did I put the stamp ? It has to be within 3 or 4 feet..or there are the stamps that fall to the floor face down...AND ARE NEVER SEEN AGAIN !

Phil - I do the same thing and invariably I find them later between the pages of my album or catalog.

I've had a Hades of a time losing my clear perf gauge on my desk lately. Go figure!

Somewhere in the corner of this world there must be billions of marbles all in one cluster

Great Tina, loved it.

I recently 'lost' a Great Britain SG101 which I was putting up for sale. It has not turned up yet.

I have searched everywhere.

Londonbus1.....It's the only 101 I've ever touched !!

Old timer's disease is not all bad. I am often pleasantly surprised when I come across a nice stamp or cover I don't remember buying or one I thought I passed on as too expensive.
