OK Tina - I'll see what I can do for you. It's late and I'm half asleep, but if I'm reading the scan right they should be as shown below.
The top row #1 appears to be sc# 146; #2 sc# 199; #3 sc# 109; #4 sc# 208; #5 sc# 207; #6 sc#231
The second row #1 sc# 155; #2 sc# 112; #3 sc# 229
I hope this helps! |

I could try to transcribe and translate it, but I would need better quality scans. These are too small...

Yes, that's better.
"Bremen 8.12.41 (December 8th, 1941)
Dein vornehmer Bruder führt seine Sterne vor
In meinen neuen Arbeitsbereich (Wie im Generalstab!)"
Your posh brother shows his stars
In my new workingarea (as in the general's headquarters!)
(note: the "Sterne" was a bit difficult to read, but I suppose that is what he meant. He probably got promoted. Interesting drawing of a powerplant or ironsmelting factory :) ) |

Tina - I don't speak or read German enough to do any good any more. I lived in Germany when I was a kid. I use a German-English philatelic dictionary and Babble or something similar to stumble my way through most text. |

The texts on the back of the photos do not need to be enlarged that much to be readable, so you could try those. The card bottom right is interesting. It says that mrs. Trollhann has been acquitted from further inquiry by the public prosecutor for political/nazi matters. This was in 1949, almost 4 years after the war. Philatelically, it is funny to see that this mail from a government agency was not properly franked, so there is a cancel "Nachgebühr" = postage due on it. At least, that is how I interpret the red handcancel. |
