i picked up this unused lightly hinged Barbados 280b catalog 14 dollars for 2 bucks tonight...the same fellow had a Citation worldwide album A to Z complete very few stamps for 10 bucks...nobody wanted it...finally he said "i aint taking it home,,who wants it free ? " still no takers...have we become so jaded..he ended up carrying the book back home !!  |

T360..i cant imagine someone offering me something like that when I was 10 years old..alas there was no young collector at the meeting to take advantage of the situation !! |

I like Tom would have come home with it too,Love that Barbados Phil here we call that type of fish Dolphin fish and yes I'm an old fisherman too  .  |

I also would have snatched it up. Hey just two meetings ago we had a 2 lb. U.S. lot up on the block and people scoffed at it. Well I got it and know quite a few here that would love it. Hmm isn't it almost time for SuperBowl Squares?  |

Rick, I can PROBABLY get it free...you just go the shipping !i will ask him to bring it in 2 weeks...too bad its so thick I could not fit it in one of those 8 dollar priority boxes...anyway I am sure the market has a box for it ! |

Harry I wouldnt mind having some dolphin with you..even though my wife is from Holland...she doesnt eat fish !! When we go there I go for the raw salted herring and the smoked eels..the eels are expensive but I tell the guy at the markets to wrap a kilo in newspaper..which they are happy to do...mmmmma are they greasy !! |

a few short years ago I would have taken the Citation home..another worldwide album ? with all the bulk in our computer/stamp room I didnt dare take it home..... |
