Double Strikes Question

Hello Everyone,
Thanks for all the help - we are going to have so many questions as we go through all these stamps, so I hope you will bear with us. Some of them might be kind of goofy as we are novices.
Anyway, for my first question - is there any difference between the stamps pictured? Does the double strike mean anything? Should I keep them separated?

The ones on the right are known as precancels and are their own catagory of collecting.

Yeah the "double strike" had me wondering.
But these precancels do exists with "double strike" & "triple" also can be found inverted.

I agree with the all the above. I also collect precancels and am on the look out for the following towns:
Illinois: Birds, Glen Carbon, Odell

Missouri: Avilla, Creve Coeur, Ellisville, Marshfield, Maryland Heights, Saint Clair, Sullivan

Oklahoma: Claremore

Texas: Adrian, Alanreed, Shamrock
