Ok. I know this is a cover, but I wanted to breathe a bit of life into the "Back of Book" section of the Stamp Community. So sue me.

I bought this on e-bay in a weak moment. I grew up in southwestern Minnesota during the 1960's and 1970's and our closest airport was technically Watertown, South Dakota (pop. about 10,000)
Anyhooooo. When I graduated from College in 1983, I joined the Peace Corps. The Peace Corps would fly me from the nearest airport to my new post. Well, the nearest airport was Watertown, South Dakota.
So, on July 4th, 1983, I climbed aboard a 4 seater prop plane (I was the only passenger) in Watertown, South Dakota and began a three day trip to Libreville, Gabon (Central Africa).
Well, this cover has nothing to do with that.
It is a cover that apparently went with the first air mail deliveries from Watertown to parts unknown in 1932. Maiden voyage and all that.
Once again, and I repeat myself and I'm not even old yet, COVERS ARE SO COOOOOOOLLLLLL. You never know what the story behind them is...
