These were in an old Honor-bilt packet from H.E.Harris Ca.

I know very little about US stamps.

Someone mentioned that at least one of these is a precancelled stamp. I thought the first one myself but ???

Anything of interest here?

That was myself, the first one is a precancel.
American Express Co. has no Scott listings.

Thank you Mike.

Because it has no Scott listing does that suggest that it might be bogus? Or just unknown?

Springers Catalog is the only one that would have that information that I can think of there maybe others. Be aware that should you find a Springers Catalog, not every issue contains the the same area of topic, so the revenues may not be in every Volume.
That precancel is not bogus.

Hi Doug.....

I'm fairly certain the Stock Transfers and Future Delivery are also precancels.

Thanks Richard, all I have here is a Canada Unitrade 2005.
They have new Scotts at library though. That will give me a great head start.

Your Precanceled Battleship should be listed under American Express Co. in "The Battleship Desk Reference" By R. Mustatich & A. Giacomelli. Springer lists NO U.S. Standard Revenues. The Few that were listed were dropped when they were added into Scotts' Cat.

Just for interest playing card revenues also had some precancels on them mainly company names or initials.

Yes, there are a few documentaries of this series that were available with Precancels on a limited basis. Most Revenue Collectors find these of little interest. These are normally available for under $1.
