I don't know of a website like that. It would be nice if there was.

This site will do it for you up until 1970. It's a great resource for US stamps. Been posted before (thanks laswabbie.)

Doesn't Scott specialized have this information? I am sure that for most commemoratives this is given and for most, but not all definitives. Sometimes in the earlier issues, just the month and year is given.

For Commemoratives, the month day and year are at the head of the listing. For the definitives it is given after the denomination and color of each listing.

My 1989 edition of Linn's Stamp Almanac lists all the stamps issued in the U.S. for each day of the year up to 1988... BY DATE (ie. 12 March, 15 June, etc.)

If there is a particular day you are looking for, I'd be glad to help you out.

It is just my curiosity to see whether a more accurate historical perspective can be made from the exact date. Sometimes it can be; sometimes it can not be.

Thanks for you help. I'll touch base with you once I do little more studies.
