Buck Boshwit a former member of our club MSCS (Memphis Stamp Collectors Society) his collection was up with Siegel Auctions back in 2007.

What is surprising is a couple of his exhibits are now online with the Shelby county, TN. board. To view part of a very great collection of covers, post marks, Confederates, go to the following link.

We were blessed to have him in the club for knowledge and ya just never knew what might be shown at any night in the club.

I couldn't imagine what it would be like to have a collection like that. I wish he was able to visit our area. I am sure that the members of our stamp club would be thrilled to see such an interesting exhibit. You ARE very lucky to have this collector as a memeber of your club. I imagine he has won quite a number of awards with his exhibit. Of course he deserves it. It must have taken a lot of time and effort as well as the knowledge to assemble all that material. Wow! It's amazing.

Sadly he has passed back in October 2006. And his collection parted at Siegel in 2007. That is why it was surprising to see just a fraction of his exhibit intact.
