That is sad. Because of a couple bad eggs, they will ruin it for all the real kids that need stamps for themselves to get started. |

Well, I bit but he didn't get any great stamps from me and what I sent I, personally, had no use for and, I did get a committment in return to send an item I have desired from NZ. Soooo...had I known the full truth up front, I would not have bitten but, in retrospect, I really have no regrets other than feeding the scam. |

Experienced stamps need a home too. I'd rather have an example that is imperfect than no example. I collect for enjoyment, not investment. APS Member #223433 Postmark Collectors Club Member #6333 Meter Stamp Society Member #1409 |

There is no reason why it has to ruin it for all the real kids, just let them get to their 50 post first before even thinking of sending stamps. If people are trying to scam, the chances are they won't stick around that long. Steve |

Yes, and don't forget what I wrote in my initial post: Quote: ***Many so-called 'bad trades' come about because the trader does not know how to trade. The most important step in a trade is build a rapport with the contact. This is the FIRST and MOST IMPORTANT step of any trade. I include in this someone like 'robbillows'. Look before you leap. LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP ! Londonbus1.....Doesn't like leaping anyway |

Hi Guys,
I guess I should have come here to post my note. Anyhow, I just posted a note in general discussions that I received a nice postcard, a handful of New Zealand stamps and some coins for my daughter, in exchange for the stamps that I sent to Rob Billows.
I wasn't going to say anything here but I guess I better so no new members fall for it. There was also an apology and he admitted that it was a scam. So hopefully now we can forget about him, and let it go.
Have a good day. Suzanne |

I hope we will get a personal apology from Leon Billows shortly. The guilt has started to appear after almost 9 months. Or maybe something else other than guilt. You will be able to judge for yourself I hope.
