Yes Phil! 2010 is fast approaching and that requires some rethinks on revised collecting strategies, I'm going for my new thread- create a new album for Overprints!

Great replies Guys ! I try to keep renovations to a minimum...but the wife seems to overule me...Q..i am still very much interested in Guatemala...and stamps are a great retirement hobby..i will not give them up..but guys why store stuff that is not looked at for months or years ? I gow weary of going through minimum value stamps only to find I already have them in the albums..its really a continuing waste of energy...regards to all ! phil

Well, philb, it seems to me that the only solution is sell it off, here, maybe by weight.

The Pros of this is that you take care of your problem, make a little money, and thereby curry some favor with the Mrs. The other Pro is that you help out the junior collectors (and others) that come here.

Now, really...you want to make Mrs. philb happy, don't you???

i also suggest you start giving out $100 bills along with the stamps that way when we get those stamps we can make quality storing provisions. its a win win your stamps will be preserved plus you wont have to bother about them
