Further to my post last month, I picked up these two beauties for $3.00 each, for my title pages of my U.S.A. collection.

The first one.... please rise as we honour America...

The next one I really like. I lived in Texas, so I saw these flags in a few places. A brief anectdote before showing it...

I was a Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner, with the Boy Scouts of America (in my Canadian uniform!). We were teaching the boys how to fold an American flag. One of the leaders said to me "David, do you know how to fold a Confederate flag?". "No", I replied. "Ya don't! You roll it up on the stick and keep it in the closet 'til next time."

For my dear friends across Texas and the American Southwest... this post card brings back fond memories.

The South will rise again!

I cannot wait for the Kate Smith stamp being issued by the U.S.P.S.

God Bless America (Land That We Love).

David

Nice postcards, David. Are they used or unused?
