Great looking set of covers, LaSwabbie! Thanks for posting them!

Seems there is a small mistake in a the U.S.S. Honolulu cancel - it reads Pearl Harbor, I. H. instead of Pearl Harbor, H. I. (cool!)

The memorial cover has a signature - do you know whose it is?

No, Tom, I don't. I pulled these out of a forgotten shoebox the other day and haven't even had time to look at them closely. I hadn't even noticed the IH vs HI! You've got a good eye!

The signature could be that of the cachet designer.

I came across this postmark about twenty five years ago and really liked the little bi-plane. I had always wanted the full postmark but could never locate one. This is probally how I came to collecting First Flight covers. Then in the past two weeks I have come across five of them.
I guess patience in this hobby really helps.

What started it all.

I did say five so here you go. Not a FFC but great aviation history.
The cancel is almost completely on stamp.
