Hi,

I'm dopie13.

Came across this forum after typing "stamp trade board" on googel,
and im happy to have clicked over.

This place is great! Everyone is warm and positive with everyone.

okay now the bio,
I have been collecting since I was 4. That's when I received my
first cigar box of stamps from my great grandma.
Today I have about 6000 examples all in G&K cards.

I started out seriously with US Officials, them migrated to Egypt
Officials (not sure how really) and am now working on filling the
final last few spots of my Egypt country collection.

So if I can help anyone, please let me know.

dopie

Welcome to the forum dopie13!

Glad to have you here!

I would like to learn more about Egyptian stamps and see some of your Egypt collection. Any pyramids or the Sphinx?

Hello & Welcome!

I kind of like Egyptian stamps, especially the UAR issues that began in the late 1950's. I guess it's because of the consistency of design. They cover a lot of ground but you can pick one out at a glance... and almost in the dark!

Hello dopie13.....

Welcome to the club. I'd like a look at some of your Egyptian collection if you don't mind. Posting pictures here is fairly easy once you try it a few times, if you need a little help getting started, you'll find plenty of folks willing to give any aid you might need.

Welcome! I've been to Egypt a couple times too. Absolutely lovely country. Don't have many stamps, but have some of the currency I kept while there.

Can we assume you can read arabic and maybe help us out with other mid-eastern stamps?
