That happens to me with most stamps.

I say I am only going to but one but them I think, when I see it, that it is so nice and needs to be properly appreciated so I get a few more, then a sheet, a First Day Cover, souvenir sheet(s), etc, etc . . .

I do enjoy appreciating beauty.

Yes, that is my excuse. It sounds good. That's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I usually control myself and buy the quarterly collections for singles. If there's a souvenir sheet that I know won't be in those (usually sheets with multiples of the same design), I buy those extra on issue day.

I don't hate them. Quite the opposite (as I'm a comic book collector as well)... LOL

I think it is a pandemic virus that makes us behave the way we do. In fact, it's probably a disability and we should all apply for disability benefits to help us support our addiction.

Here's one... I received this in todays mail (with an exchange lot) from France:

In addition France put out a surcharged m/s with 5 different designs to honor "little big Gaul".

PS. And if anyone's interested to see the stamps I received from exchange, then please visit this page: http://www.stampcollectingblog.com/...m-france.php
