Another stamp that came up as I was sorting along, what country is this? as a guess maybe Greece?, but just want to be sure, thanks

You're right Nic - it is Greece.

I believe it is Scott 976 (1970/2.25/.20) and represents the Slaying of Geryon. Scott doesn't have a picture, but the cancel date matches and the subject looks right.

Looking for this one has reminded me of just how nice many of the Greek mythology stamps are.

laswabbie is right on the money with Scott 976. The Greek postal authorities will never have an excuse for running out of subject matter.

The word Hellas is the tip. It means Greece.

Thats the historic word for the country in Hellinika (Greek.)
