I've got a fairly nice unused set of the 1926 Regular Issues -- except for the 634a which is a little too pricey for my budget.

This week, I found a decent-looking precancel to fill the hole. I know some of you are fans of precancels and others would rather have the blank space

Either way, here it is ...

Perfectly serviceable. That's a good solution, and I bet it doesn't look terribly out of place on the page.

Nice stamp. Don't you like the fact that with unaided vision you can see the difference between this stamp and the more common one? I always thought this and the coil version of the type 2 are two of the most interesting stamps of the issue.

Very nice #634A-63 KirkS,for those that don't know but have an interest in precancels the 63 is it's precancel designation.

I'm sure you're familiar with the Precancel Stamp Society, but for others who may not be, there's a list of designations on the PSS website www.precancels.org

Not a problem KirkS I have the Bureau and the Town and Type precancels catalogues if any one's interested.
