Album Pages

I have a question for all to answer: If you were going to make up a yearly supplement for a world album, how would you decide which stamps to put on the page? Also how would you decide which country to make pages of.

I'm not quite sure of these, but I think its best to get those ring binder that you can add pages onto it, in case you suddenly have an influx of it and need more space... I'm not sure if this is answering your question though.. Sorry if this isn't of any help..

I'm kinda struggling with this also at the moment.

I Think What I've decicided to to is to make up the pages as I need them. As for which stamps to go on which page that is up to you. I like to keep them in chronological order as much as possible. Some like to place them by theme or type.(ie commemorative, air mail etc.)

I think deciding which countries to include, to me, would be the easier thing, maybe.... Just decide which countries you care about the most. Often there are some that collectors have no real interest in, why bother including them ? With most albums it would be easy enough to add a country anytime you find something you like.

As to which stamps....following the same guidelines as above, choices become a little easier. Don't care about Chilean revenues ?? Why allow space for them ?

The one thing I would be sure to do is to keep the order of things consistent with whatever cataloging system you're using. Chronological order will make everything easier to locate. Even blank pages with a catalog number just above or below a stamp (lightly in pencil) works well if you don't have a printer. Walmart carries a decent variety of acid free paper in a number of grades and a three ring punch isn't very expensive and would last for many years. Many collectors are creating their own homemade pages, myself included. With three-ring binders I generally have a section of Hagner type hingeless pages in front of or behind regular paper pages.
