Greetings all: Mark from Florida. Have already left a few postings but I guess never formally introduced myself. Collecting stamps on an off for about 40 years. The off period corresponded to the late 70's through the late 1980's. Interested primarily in classic US used and unused but around 1995 started getting interested in classic foreign. My interest there is up to about 1930. Big fan of engraved stamps. Naturally when you are a collector, it would not be unusual to get somewhat involved in other avenues of collecting and that for me would include coins, fossils, classic sports autographed memorabilia, and historical documents and manuscripts, primarily American. When you get into collectibles you have to commit yourself to a lifetime of learning and I intend to learn from the other members of this forum and share whatever knowledge I have with you. In that regard, I am a relative novice compared to many of the members of the coin forum, but am competent in fossils, classic sports, and am probably able to handle whatever is thrown at me regarding American historical documents.
