Today the postman brought me the 1930 Algeria-Tunis semi-official airmail set issued for the 100th anniversary of French annexation. Sanabria lists them as SO1-6. The design is nicely done, but it is the tinted papers that catch my eye. I enlarged the high value to show a bit of the detail.

I held out for awhile looking for a complete set at a nice price. I'm pleased with what showed up.

looking for a complete set

Yeah, I hate to buy a short set, then later have to buy a full set just to get the high values. But as a novice, I did it to myself several times.

I guess everyone here has done the same thing once or twice.
