The Endless Task

If there is nothing else I FEEL like doing,,i can always tackle trying to straighten up the stamp desk...i can not bring myself to throw away correspondence, old glassines,pencils,pens etc etc..i wonder if I have an opposite number somewhere that keeps nothing ??

That would probably be me. My husband keeps everything (and I mean everything) I I decided I would go in the opposite direction. (with the exeption of stamps)

I have turned into an organizational nazzi lately because I have hobbies that take up a lot of space (scrapbooking, Landscape design and gardening, painting and the main one stamp collecting. I have about 12,000 stamps comming from ebay so I decided to get supper organized. Just bought 2 6 foot shelves for my new office and a whole bunch of boxes and container of various sizes.

Here's to hoping it all works out.

Did I mention I make beer and wine too ( major space hog)

Dianne some years ago I received an unsolicited e mail from a woman who wanted to sell her Dads collection...she must have picked me up on ebay...we emailed back and forth and finally arrived at a price of 300 dollars plus 60 dollars shipping..it was two large cartons..she would have liked a little bit more and I would have liked to see the 9 handmade albums beforehand..but I sent her the money order for 360 she requested..she made some comment like I cant get blood out of a stone..but thats ok...anyway the books are probably still 75 percent full..naturally some books..the one with France,Germany and Great Britain was the best...were better than others..the collection ran up to about 1990 so there are a bunch of minimum value 1970s and 1980s that I dont have much use for..they are a pain to catalog..of course I cherry picked the 50 cent and up ones...whew !!

And I completed my Canada used collection from the 5 cent values through the 1970's from those books..so that was good !!
