I found these 2 cards in a stash of items I bought recently. I thought these were very nicely done. They don't seem to fit in one of the other categories of the forum. One is Mexican from EFIMEX 68, and the other I think is Belgium from an International Philatelic Exposition in 1972. While the stamps pictured aren't real stamps, the way they embossed them on the card is quite nice. Enjoy.

Obviously I can't read the text on the second one, but the selection of stamps shown is an interesting one.

Sorry Londonbus1, I forgot to do a search. I wasn't even sure what to call the little darlings. As for collecting, I'm not sure, I barely have enough time to go through my stamps, let alone these. They were in with some stamps I got recently, I just thought they were interesting. However, the covers I got along with these "postcard" items has me intrigued. We'll see.

As for reading the 2nd card, I'm with you laswabbie. I can't even pronounce that long word "postzegelentoonstelling". It's a mouthful. But, still a nice find.

Londonbus, and since you insist on niggling, let me tell you that I thought this was grossly unfair to stampdog.

Do you think someone coming here reads back a year or more before posting?

And how would she know that what she had was in any way related to the thread you cite, "World Fairs and Expos ephemera?" Her cards are not for a world fair or expo but for a philatelic expo.

One again, it is a discussion board and not a reference library. Times change and people come and go. Let them enjoy themselves.

I can see Modern_who's point,
yet I don't think London bus was being Grossly unfair.
Perhaps just a reference to the other Topic collection,
wold have been polite, and I do agree posts of a common thematic are well advised to remain together, even if the moderator (if possible)
can move them.
I think we all have to bite our collective tongues sometimes when we are misunderstood.

Anyhows, to add to Stampdogs lovely brace of exh sheets
(and featuring GB material) my contribution.
(BTW I think some "efimex" overprints occur on yemen stamps)
