I'll help if I can, but not 'til quite a bit later...if I had a set of catalogs at the office, I'd never get anything done!

A person sort of gets used to Kim replying about as fast as it takes Google to reply with search results...

Hang in there...

Collin

I'm sorry, I get called quite a lot, and past 3 months there have been an unusual number of people with medical problems that I've had to help out -- so quite a few trips to hospitals/clinics/pharmacies/visitation...

On top of it all, the most recent case is actually a family member with cancer that has already spread. I need to finish writing up the report and translating some instructions, then delivering the medication.

I check your pics a little later.

Thanks, Tina. Yes, I'll get around to giving you a final reply on your email from, uh, month ago or so...?

On #1053, you will need to measure the perfs to do the final ID.

#1055 is a nice premium item. Can't tell from your pic, but if it's MNH, the 2009 Scott catalog is $160. You have #1055-1057, but I don't see #1054. Look for #1054. As I mentioned before, you'll get a much better price if you have the complete set (it attracts the speculators). That is one set that will continue to inch upwards, as it is not only issued during the Cultural Revolution, but it has a relatively low print quantity of 2 million sets.

Nice stamps to have, congratulations!

k

Very nice! That's it! I was just looking through the scans you had emailed me earlier and about the post to tell you that I saw the #1053 on the page that had the pandas. Is that where you found it? Or do you actually have more than one?!

I'm envious!

OK, I see from the pattern of the perforations on #1053, that it is the same stamp as the one in the scan you had emailed me.

Thanks for sharing the pics!
