Is this stamp used for documents? I assumed it was British, but not sure. Any thoughts?

Why the extra zero on the end. Is 1.10.0 the notation for 1 pound, 10 shillings?

Yes, British revenue stamp for documents. This particular one appears to have been used at the British Consulate in Los Angeles.
I don't have a GB revenue catalog and I don't collect revenues. So I'll leave it up to someone else to fill in the blanks.
Definitely a very pretty stamp! |

Wow, I didn't see those words "NGELES". Should have been a tip off since I grew up near Los Angeles. Thanks.

Rodney, Any chance you could scan the Barefoot pages for English Consular Service and email them to me? I have a bunch (all different regains)and would love to put #'s to them. I've been menaing to get several barefoot catalogs and have just never gotten around to it. Also, did you ever look at the other Rev. posts? |

"Barefoot" -- his name alone is reason to get the catalog! It's the classic general go-to catalog for revenues. k |

David, I've pulled out the South African Revenues for you. I just haven't had a chance to scan them. I should get to it this weekend. I'll scan the Consulars at the same time. I'll send you an email over the weekend. |
