Just a point to follow on from spock's query. Personally, I never look for MNH (MUH in Australia) KGV. They are too scarce, many are regummed, and the prices are ridiculous. Catalogue values for this period are for MH which makes life much easier for me.

My favorite era and stamps is the Australian KGV penny reds from 1914-1918.Heaps of shades and stamp printing was still primitive enough to have lots of very interesting constant printing flaws. This group of stamps has enough variety to last 3 life times of collecting interest. Easy to find and bulk lots are still relatively cheap to buy.KGV
