How does one add a signature automatically to a message or reply? I am entering a signature by hand below to give an idea what I would like to do automatically. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for replying. I did exactly what you suggested but there is no place where to enter a signature.

Something's wrong, my friend. I do everything you suggest except that in my profile there is no such thing as a box marked "HTML code is off" right hand, left hand or anywhere. I just checked the FAQ and it says that the signature can be added through the 'profile" page, just as you said. Except in mine, I guess!

Tony.....

Not sure what's wrong......it might possibly be that you need a certain number of posts before you can add a signiture. Maybe we can get one of the moderators to add something here.

Tony,

I checked the rules and it seems one needs "100 quality posts" before you can add a signature.

There are a number of features for this forum that do not become active until you make a number of posts. For example, you need 50 posts to buy/sell or to send email through the forum. This seems to be required for the comfort of other members, especially relevant for buying or selling. It also seems to have the effect of encouraging people to participate in the forum, rather than just lurk. That is important and I think makes this a very vibrant place.

I have little doubt you'll reach 50 and then 100 posts soon.

And, yes, I collect Swiss stamps.

All best and welcome again,

Larry
