It's a fraudulent piece of philatelic trash and you should send it to me for shredding as soon as possible.

Do not send it to Bobgggg. Do not send it to Bobgggg. Do not send it to Bobgggg. Do not send it to Bobgggg.

Actually, it's a nice, well struck cover bearing a C23. I'd have to look up the exact value, but unless there is something rare about that specific flight I would guess it's worth $3 to $5 retail.

It would have an honored place in my collection so I hope you keep and find a place for it in yours!

I'm am trying my best not to keep everything! This journey is becoming more and more difficult. :-)

I have a stack of stamps that I can not part with now. It has been an amazing journey so far. I have learned so much from everyone here.

Tell you what laswabbie, if you give me your address I will send it to you. A gift from me to you, if I can get it in the mail before the bored trolls get to it!

Tonya:

National Air Mail Week (NAMW) was a one shot deal in 1938 by PMG Farley and President FDR to promote air mail. I collect the air postal history of Texas, so I'm always on the look out for NAMW covers from Texas. Nice one you have there from Mass.

Tonya - email sent. I really hope you'll keep it and use it as the starter for a US airmail collection. But, if not, I'll give it a nice home and the care and love it deserves.
