As many of you know by now, I use ShowGard mounts on all my stamps - used or mint.

In general, my US collection (Om a Scott Specialized pages) uses mounts sized from about 22mm to 48mm.

In general, my Israel collection (again, on Scott Specialized pages) uses mounts sized from 48mm up to 74mm and beyond because of the tabs.

My German collection uses a wide range of sizes.

The problem is this: I have used a ShowGard mount storage tray to house my strips, but it only holds certain sizes from 22mm to 52mm. I've had to deal with the larger sized piecemeal.

I got tired of messing with various packets of mounts up to 201mm in size (for SSheets, etc.) and decided, in the good old American way, to steal ShowGard's storage tray idea to build a larger system.

I took a 12x6x4 inch plastic container from Walmart ($2.79), and some of the Styrofoam like hobby material I stole from my wife (the kind you stick fake flowers in) to use as the angled base, and some 65# card stock that I cut up into individual mount strip pockets and combined them into a large storage tray that holds my 20mm to 80mm strips securely and easily accessed.

I was home sick with bronchitis again today and I'm a bit impressed with the way my fevered mind worked this out! I'd call that an excellent use of sick leave.
