Steve, I hear ya! My Mom has COPD, she can't even walk to the mail box. She relies on my sister to get the mail for her every couple of days. In fact, about 30% of my family still doesn't have a cell phone. I just can't see how this would work.

jubilee - I'm just dying to know what the word is with all the stars in it... I've been puzzling over it for a while now.

Hi,I am new to this forum and I have read alot of your comments on the U.S.P.S. and frankly the question I have is when you are tradeing or selling just a few of your stamps, and if there is no post office to go to just a little spot at a neighborhood store.Would you not think that just losing a lousy day at the post office be worth it. I mean think about it! It would be heck if the only way to get any stamps would be at a dealer or a show. No offence but most of the time you do not go to a dealer to pick up new stamps or to a show that only comes around once every so many months. We complain that the price of stamps are getting to expensive,Yet we still in the long run need the postal service. How else can you get a note or letter or postcard to a friend or a family member. We all have to remember not everyone in the world has a computer and how many times in the past have you sent a loved one or a friend a postcard showing where you are at and how much fun you are having. I understand that sometimes getting to the post office on Saturday is the only time you have to post your letters or send a package. But if you think most of the time where you work at, the company will send out your letter or package for you as long as the postage is correct on said same. And If that is the day you pick up new stamps for your collection do not forget if you have a computer you can order on line. Thank you for letting me post this reply Chris

Christoper, first of all, welcome, thanks for joining and posting.

Very nice to hear a viewpoint from a human perspective indeed. Makes one stop and take a breath and consider. Thank you.

A balance is nice to have I think.

Appreciate what you have while you have it, I like to try and remember.
