Welcome. There is a requirement of fifty quality posts before trading is allowed, to allow everyone to get to know each other a bit, so look around, contribute some information here and there, and see where it takes you.

The administration maintains good FAQ and Rules sections, both linked across the top, which are worth a read.

Welcome kiwihombre, nice to have you here.

Very nicely put. Remember to remember this thread or a link to it so you can direct people to it when you get 50 posts and they want to trade.

Hi John,
I know you from other groups but the rules in place here are for good reasons. If the same rules applied to those other groups we would not see 'Bad trader' messages all over the net twenty times a day.
On this group it does not happen. And when it does, and it did once not long ago, it was handled superbly.

So please come and post and enjoy the group and then when you reach the magic figure, fire away and post your wants and not wants !
You will soon get there.

When that time comes, go here to leave your desires:

Hello nuggethill,in another group, where they don't wan't to know all about you,I have several exchanges underway, for modern Japanese stamps,up to and including 2010.These are by fellow collectors, that take me at my face value,or to put it in plain english, for those who do not understand,or see me as some kind of threat,or a "bad trader","that my word is my bond".That is for those who will not permit me to exchange, without all the plaver and fuss they wan't to put me through,or for the hard of understanding, and the just plain, hard to get along with.Or to put it in simple engish,"if you don't trust me don't exchange with me,"but if you look at any other groups,I belong,to you will see I have an excellent trading history!Regards,
John.(kiwihombre)
