Gutter without the pair

I think I have seen similar on one of the Canada Day sheets of the 1990's. I am at work now so don't have them handy.

Edited: did an ebay search and it is 1992 Canada day Souvenir sheet Scott 1431a

It's also referred to as a stamp "Tab", a growing virus within stamp collection oddities back of book [Bob].
My assortment is way over 200 now.

So what is it?
It is not a Tab as Rod suggested...at least not in terminology of the UK or Israel ?

What would you call it....the question is for everyone.???

I would call it a gutter which runs between two stamps, but that is usually in a strip !

So, come on....what would you call it?

Londonbus1....fishing.

Lb,
I would agree with you, and call it a gutter.

I think of a gutter as running between panes of stamps. This checkerboard arrangement would seem to stretch that "definition" beyond recognition.

If I had to call it something, I think I would choose to call it a se-tenant label.

My 2d.
