hello everybody, I'm hoping to find out more about some of the envelopes
in my family's collection and also eventually find people who want trade US stamps for my stamps of the various countries of the world.

also whats the best way to upload a lot of pictures on here?
should I do the image shack thing?

you won't have to resize your images if you use Photobucket or similar image hosting site.

well here is a link (http://img89.imageshack.us/g/dscf4740.jpg/) to pictures of the oldest batch of covers in the collection which was originally my great great grandmothers, than my great grandmothers. my grandparents upon receiving them, quickly gave them to my mother but she wasn't much more interested in them so they sat for a few years now. recently I had sold some things online for them and so she thought about "the stamps". However after looking into them I have decided its time to get back into collecting and have decided to keep most of them and try to complete an early collection of USA stamps as a sort of family treasure. thats gonna be hard of course but if the watermarks are just right and all the perforations add up than who knows.

Im very interested in what it is that makes an especially interesting or unique cover, and learning how to grade stamps, and whats the best way to store everything so it stays in good condition for a long time. ... and lots more

Nice covers. I particularly like the Airmail covers and FIrst Flight covers.

I saw one addressed to someone in San Diego Calif. - That's where I grew up.
There's a lot of history represented on those covers.

Noticing your covers are some of the best I have seen in awhile. And yes your flight covers are very nice,butdo not forget to keep them in a safe and low lighted area you might want to pass them on to you children if you want to exchange them please check with the catalogs or online for price information.
